Morera in Istanbul

Morera is coming to Istanbul with “ Return Of Zorro”

Cuban artist’s ,Noel Morera, exhibition “ Return Of Zorro” between May 6th and June 30th in Artane Istanbul,in Beyoglu,on the European side of Istanbul.

The famous movie character “Zorro” is embodied with hiss sword, boots, wide hat, mask, whip, black costume, courage and talent of enticement in Morera’s Works. The new breath is the first thing drawing our attention. On contrary to movie character, Morera’s “Zorro” is theatral, entertaining and funny. No more killing and being the public hero. In short Zorro is Morera.

In Morera’s Works, the prints of Latin Robin Hood fighting against the enemies is no more existing. No speaches of Tornado,Zorro’s horse, and loyal servant ,Bernardo, . Morrera’s intentions do not surprise us as we are interested in Morera mor than Zorro.

NOEL MORERA
Born in Cuba in 1962, educated in Havana San Alejandro. Morera saying , “Art is the mere real bridge between human beings.”, believes the essentiality of art. He achieved great success in Sculpture, gravure print, mixed techniques. Achieved success in over 50 exhibitions in Cuba, England, Spain, Italy and Ecuador.
