19th Efes Pilsen Blues Festival

The advertising meeting of Turkey’s longest lasting music Festival Efes Pilsen Blues festival was made in Grand Bazaar Istanbul. The guests of festival John Lee Hooker Jr. and Watermelon Slim coloured the night with their performance. The Marketing Director of Efes Pilsen Dilek Basarir informed about the Festival and emphasised that Grand Bazaar has been one of the oldest historical Bazaar area through the history,on the European side of Istanbul,in Eminonu. Basarir saying that Blues having roots in through the history; their intention of arranging the festival opening in Grand Bazaar was to associate these two values.

Efes Pilsen Blues Festival is meeting with blues lovers for the 19th times within winter tour happening between the dates of October 24th-December 03rd 2008. This year Efes Pilsen Blues Festival presenting John Lee Hooker Jr., Sharrie Williams and Watermelon Slim; will give blues lovers unforgettable music experience in 25 different cities with 25 concerts

The festival will be held in Istanbul between 21-22 November.
